Welcome Pastor Gary Jones!

Rev. Gary Jones will assume the role of Pastor of Congregational Care at the Naz beginning in July 2008. He and Louise are welcome members of the team! Their compassion, wisdom, gifts, and character make them a natural fit and asset to ministry.

Rev. Jone's ministry responsibilities include:

• To assist the senior pastor with the care of the congregation through help in visitation, “the ministry of presence”, providing spiritual counsel, and hospital calling.
• To assist the pastor and church ministries in ensuring all people get connected into the life and ministry of the church.
• To pray for the congregation generally and specifically.
• To help people get the pastoral care they need by becoming connected to a Small Group, Bible Study affiliated with the church, or Sunday School Class.
• To assist the pastor in following up on people who have attended the church.
• To help develop, recruit, motivate, and encourage lay ministry.
• To train and utilize other members of the congregation (who show the appropriate spiritual giftedness) to also provide congregational care.

Join us for Congregational Prayer.

We meet in the sanctuary on the first Sunday evening of each month at 5 pm.

Everyone is invited!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Are you looking for a safe place to discuss the Bible? Are you looking for a place to share your insights on specific Biblical issues within a community that promises to take you seriously? Then Food For Thought is your place!
